Home at last...

Home Sweet Home!

2 pokes...he pulled the first IV...and a script for some nausa meds... He hasn't napped all day, i'm he'll sleep like a charm tonight and see a nice new light tomorrow.

He told the doctor in the ER "Thank you very much! Buh Bye!" He told his Ped "Come on...Let go! Pool water!" She said she'd swim with him another time! Anything to get out of being poked and prodded!

Tomorrow will tell.... Pray people...Caitlynn's 10th birthday party is Friday it's a Pool/Sleepover with about 6-7 girls, the worst thing would be to have Jacob in the hospital.

Jacob's aweful week...

Things went from bad to worse with NO wet diaper overnight despite 400ml's of pedialite and oatmeal.I went to work and left him with mom...giving him 45ml's every hour. He gagged, retched and vomited 3 feeds...keeping in about 35 of each one. I called GI (his GI just left for vacation) The NP didnt like the sound of him and wanted electrolites checked. They called the ped...after a 30 min's of not getting ahold of her they were about to admit him to Greenville Childrens. They finally got ahold of her and got him in for a blood draw. 2 pokes...and VERY little blood...but enough for the test. They also put a pee bag on him... We went back 2 hours later after going for a belly x-ray checking for a blockage...he was clear.

Electrolites havent come back yet, but she doesnt like the "LOOK" of him..and the fact he screamed kicked and cried...with no tears for 20 min's. She checked him over good....and sent us to the ER for fluids. We're home packing up some goodies ... Thomas and A Fish named Nemo! Along with a blankie and we'll be heading there. The hope is after a bolus he'll stable out and tollerate the backpack tomorrow. Home Health is having a backpack delivered tomorrow...they managed to find him a Super Mini! I told her color didnt matter...that was the ONLY one that he cant wiggle out of I will be repairing his other one of cours As for Why he's like this...nobody has any clue.

If we cant work him back to normal feeds by Monday they may admit to figure 'what else' is going on out. We have a follow up with his ped's partner (seemed like a nice guy, he came in to meet us) they said we can cancel if he has a wet overnight, and 3 wets before the apt at 245. Otherwise they want to see him.
