Halloween & For Connie
Hi Connie! Ok first...the video that i've been promising! My singing little man :) http://www.dropshots.com/cnjmommy#date/2008-10-29/18:11:41
He really is adapting well to having only one wing. You can see him having to think about how to do something, but most things he can accomplish :) He has a dr apt on Tuesday, they will x-ray again to check placement. Then the following week will be uncasting it and recasting it with his hand in a better position. His doc is amazing...and even reconized me when he went though my line Thursday. Amazing considering he'd only seen me a total of about 30 min's over 2 different days!
Next...halloween!!! Enjoy!!
Mr. I dont eat...apparently thinks licking a pumpkin is ok. UGH YUCK!
Yes he's outgrown the highchair...it's getting a new home soon. The new little one that will get it is entering this world on Monday :)
The guts are always fun!
He painted his pumpkin! And had a lot of fun naming the colors
Jacob helped a little...
She did 90% of it herself.
Finished pumpkin :)
What were we talking about ... oh yes "W" Sitting! I forgot to tell him to fix his feet. Woops!
Daddy...yes he dressed this way all day. The kids on his bus gave HIM candy! Jacob the Home Depot Associate...original I know, but it fit over his cast ;) And the Jailbird Caitlynn.
Our Jail-Bird... Caitlynn. She must of gotten into a fight getting out ;)
Pop-Pop and Caitlynn with their loot! They got over 500 pieces of candy! (including our leftovers of about 80 pieces)

Happy Birthday to me.....
Jacob had his follow up with Ortho today. Drive all the way there...wait and wait to get seen. Get in the room only to be told there's nothing they can do today. His bone is at a 45 degree angle after being set on Wednesday. He'll be going into surgery under full sedation on Thursday to take the cast off, re-set it, and put a new cast on. The greatest degree of angle they can accept is 20, so his is way off. He'll be going to school Monday-Wednesday, they dont think he can do more damage so we figured let him go. He doesnt seem to be in alot of pain, tylenol and low dose Lortab seems to be helping. Unfortunatly we didnt know a side effect of Lortab was constipation, and forgot his glycolax yesterday in all the excitement. So he was very very backed up tonight. He's almost cleaned out now though thank God.

The way to spend a Wednesday...
Jacob fell at school today and broke his right arm. They had to set it and cast it. Then cut the cast to allow for swelling, and ace bandage it so he cant attempt to get it off. Hes on pain killers, and has a follow up apt on Friday. Poor boy is having a very rough day. Please keep him in your Prayers along with some really good quick healing thoughts.

Walk Now for Autism

Hi everyone!!!
We have found a good way to spend a Saturday...but we found out about it a bit late. Thankfully due to Connie G at work I was already off!!! October 4th @ 8:30 we will be at Lowes Motor Speedway for a Walk Now for Autism event! We're hoping to learn alot about what we can do to help Jacob. And hope he has alot of fun while there too. If anyone can please help us meet our goal of $100 i'd really appriciate it. It's all going towards an awesome cause. Please forward this to anyone you know :)
Thanks!
And with much Love and Gratitude!
