Walk Now for Autism

Hi everyone!!!

We have found a good way to spend a Saturday...but we found out about it a bit late. Thankfully due to Connie G at work I was already off!!! October 4th @ 8:30 we will be at Lowes Motor Speedway for a Walk Now for Autism event! We're hoping to learn alot about what we can do to help Jacob. And hope he has alot of fun while there too. If anyone can please help us meet our goal of $100 i'd really appriciate it. It's all going towards an awesome cause. Please forward this to anyone you know :)

Thanks!

And with much Love and Gratitude!

I know I know...

Blog wont you?

I will...But I wont promise since I know i'll break it ;)
It's been a hectic few weeks. School went back on August 19th and within the first 10 days both kids had missed a total of 5 days of school. 2 for C, 3 for J. We have a GI apt for Jacob tomorrow...wish me luck I get to take him by myself. And with everything going on I wish I had a 2nd set of ears and another brain...KWIM?
It's 11 days untill Jacob's 4th birthday! Where i'm so happy to see how far he's come. I'm sad to say if you ask him "what is your name? or How old are you?" he still doesnt understand. We are sending cupcakes into school with him, in the hopes that he'll at least lick one.
Caitlynn's birthday pictures were taken on the 14th of August, and Jacob's were taken the 6th of September. I'm in complete amazement to tell you they all came out great! Sears even called last week and they are remodeling their studio and want to hang a picture of Caitlynn up! That makes the 3rd time she's been displayed at a sears between PA and SC!! The lady that did Jacob's pic's (michelle) did awesome!!! She's going out on maternity leave, so we're going back in Mid October for Christmas pictures ;) That way we know they get done well!

I'll update more after Jacob's GI apt tomorrow. School has been both good and bad for Jacob. He loves it, loves his bus...and seems to like school. But there's a child in his class that tried to strangle him and is scaring the kids. I hope he's moved to a place better suited to his needs soon. In the meantime it's hard to tell if Jacob's scared, and he cant tell us 'what happened' but those of you that know my little man know he wouldnt hurt a fly. So it's scary to think someone can cause him danger in a class of 8 children. Please pray he stays safe...and happy in the enviroment he's in.
